Why Coaching?

That’s so true for each of us and that’s why at times we need a coach. It’s no secret that top performing athletes and musicians have coaches throughout their career. A coach sees the potential and gets the individual to stretch into the next level of performance. The top reasons coaches are hired are to: gain clarity and focus acting as a catalyst developing potential and facilitating changes, to assist with planning and goal setting, to improve our performance and hold us accountable. Most of you are familiar with the role of a nurse preceptor that takes entry-level nurses through a new medical facility to familiarize them with patient procedures. Hands-on experience and job shadowing is the best way to learn. On the other hand, nurses don’t care for consultants that come into the hospital and tell them how to use a new medical record keeping device when they know that the consultant has never done charting or end-of-shift reporting in their life!

Working with me assures you of working with a nurse that can walk the talk having started and ran successful businesses in several different business settings. That’s why my business coaching programs are known for relevancy and results. I love helping nurses that are ready to own it and are committed to changing their current situation. We will work together on clarifying your objectives, planning your action steps and making your vision your reality. If you don’t have a life you’re excited about, it’s time to create it!
